Building a humanistic airport is the core of the “Beijing Daxing International Airport Public Art Master Plan” project, and its important carrier ispublic art. The design and planning concept emphasizes the four-plus principle of “art + interaction (public art) + function (artistic facility)+ plan (relic of heritage)+ platform (sky art museum)”. In addition to the completed public art and artistic facilities, the second phase of the project will also launch the “Art + Plan” heritage activation, presenting the “Art + Platform” “Sky Art Museum”, gradually forming a “self-growth” living culture atmosphere, with a long-lasting release of more pluralistic possibilities and cultural growth, making the public space of Beijing Daxing International Airport a truly public, open and shared art “museum”.
